About Me!
Steven Rutledge recently graduated from SUNY Purchase College’s Acting Conservatory with a BFA. He’s been in the field for ten years studying his craft, playing iconic characters like “Titus Andronicus” in college. In April 2025 he stepped into voice over, joining Macmillan Audio’s roster of narrators through their New Narrator Program. With his warm voice and spunky yet authentic personality, he’s known for his witty charm and emotional depth to characters. Steven adores playing the sensitive hero, the distant mentor, and the best friend you need at the end of the day. You can hear him in the audiobook “Augusta Pine Does Not Exist”, releasing on Audible this summer.
“I care deeply about connection! I believe in the power of stories that make us laugh, cry, and feel seen—and I want to be a part of telling them. As people, we are deeply flawed yet beautiful; exploring that nuance is the best part of being an actor, and a great part of being alive. Oh, and friends are nice. :3”
Fun Facts:
I have a twin brother! He’s my best friend for life, and one of my biggest inspirations.
When I’m not performing, you can usually find me nerding out over video games, anime, or another personality test.
My favorite animated series are One Piece, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and recently, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
My favorite video games are Persona 4 Golden, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Stardew Valley!
P.S. Can’t wait for the new Rhythm Heaven game!
